Dear Visitors and Friends,
Welcome to the Park Circle Presbyterian Church website! As you can see from the information and pictures on this site, we are an active and loving church. You can read about what we believe and what kinds of things we are doing on other pages. So I will not go over all that in this letter. Instead I want to tell you a little bit about myself. I was born and grew up in Newton, Massachusetts but lived in New Hampshire for over 30 years. My wife, Carol is from a small town in western New York State. We have been married for 15 wonderful years. I have two grown children, and five grandchildren. In the fall of 1996, I realized that I could no longer resist God calling me to the ministry, so I quit my job in industry in order to attend Andover Newton Theological School on a full time basis. In May of 1999, I graduated with a Masters of Divinity degree. I was called to be the pastor of the Longmeadow Congregational Church in Auburn, New Hampshire and was ordained by the United Church of Christ on November 21, 1999. I served at Longmeadow for five years before relocating to the "Low Country" in the fall of 2004. I kept busy doing pulpit supply for various Presbyterian churches in the local area, including Park Circle. I was called to Park Circle as Interim Minister in February of 2007. By definition, an Interim Pastor serves as the pastor between settled pastors and helps to prepare the congregation to call and receive a new Settled Pastor. I hope you learn a lot about our church through this website and then come join us for worship, Sunday School and fellowship some day very soon.
